The Royalton Township Fire Board meets on the second Monday of each month at 6 PM. Meetings will be held at the Royalton Township Bicentennial Park pavilion at 911 E. John Beers Road, St. Joseph MI until further notice

New ISO Rating for Royalton Township Fire Department
Royalton Township’s fire department recently received an upgrade to its Public Protection Classification. Public Protection Classification (PPC) plays an important role in the underwriting process at insurance companies. Most US insurers use PPC information for deciding what business to write, coverage’s to offer or prices to charge for personal or commercial property insurance. Communities whose PPC improves may get lower insurance prices for fire insurance.
Because of this improvement in Royalton Township’s rating you can check with your insurance company to see if you can get a lower rate on your fire protection insurance!
The Fire Department is looking for people interested in becoming firefighters and rescue specialists. Royalton Township Fire Department is a volunteer department, paid-on-call fire service. Volunteer Firefighter applications are also obtained from the Township office
According to Royalton Township Burn Ordinance #22-100, you may have an open fire only with a Burning Permit obtained through any Royalton Township Firefighter, or at the Royalton Township Hall.
